These little aluminium oil filters have an 80 micron stainless steel gauze filter internally which can be accessed by unscrewing the body, cleaning the debris and re-assembling. It seals with an O ring for assured leak free operation. Each end has AN4 fittings as that’s the diameter we advise for all of our turbo kits. These are required as most ball bearing turbos now have an oil restrictor inside the cartridge of only 0.8mm diameter, this can get easily blocked and damage your turbo through lack of oil. These filters prevent that occurring.
